With the increasing advancement of artificial intelligence technology, the discussion about granting legal personality to robots has become a serious issue. This article examines the feasibility of this issue from the perspective of Islamic ethics. In Islam, humans are recognized as free and responsible beings and have certain rights and duties. Artificial intelligence robots, although advanced, lack these human characteristics. Therefore, granting them full legal personality faces serious ethical and jurisprudential challenges. The aim of this study is to examine some of the problems that advances in robotic technology have brought and will bring. It seems that in the near future, human-robot interaction will reach a level that will not be distinguishable from human-human relations. In addition, in the face of these technologies that aim to surpass human intelligence, it reveals the concept of man in Islam and offers a different perspective for it, and by emphasizing its necessity, highlights the value of being human. From the perspective of Islamic ethics, granting legal personality to robots should be done with great care and caution. It is necessary to first fully examine and explain the various aspects of this issue and then make a decision based on Islamic principles and values. It seems that at present, granting full legal personality to robots is not possible. However, with further technological advancement and changing circumstances, this issue may be revisited in the future. In this article, while examining different perspectives, an attempt is made to provide a framework for discussing this issue from the perspective of Islamic ethics.
