The editorial and peer-review process of the Journal of Islamic Law is conducted as follows:
Initial Screening: Submitted manuscripts are screened by the Editor-in-Chief based on subject relevance, abstract quality, and structural compliance.
First Peer Review: The manuscript is sent to the first reviewer. Authors are required to implement revisions if requested.
Second Peer Review: The manuscript is subsequently evaluated by a second reviewer, and further revisions must be completed where necessary.
Editorial Board Review: Upon favorable evaluation by both reviewers and completion of required revisions, the manuscript is presented to the Editorial Board for consideration and approval.
Technical and Formatting Revisions: The manuscript is returned to the author for final formal and stylistic revisions in accordance with the journal’s style guide (see detailed instructions below). Authors are required to submit the fully revised manuscript file—including abstract and author names in a single file—after professional formatting and editing. Final acceptance is granted only for manuscripts prepared in the official typeset and edited format of the journal.
The Journal of Islamic Law does not charge any fees at any stage of review, acceptance, or publication.

The opinions expressed in published articles do not necessarily reflect the views of the journal.
Manuscripts must represent original research and must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
Failure to comply with the above requirements will result in the manuscript not being considered for review.
