Peer Review Process

Manuscript Submission and Review Process

  1. Compliance with the Author Guidelines:
The manuscript must be prepared and revised in full conformity with the journal’s Author Guidelines available on the journal’s website. If the author is unable to implement the required formatting and stylistic standards, the manuscript—together with the journal’s style guide—must be entrusted to a qualified editor or professional editing service for proper editing and formatting prior to submission.

  2. Registration in the Journal System:
Authors must register in the journal’s online submission system. Complete details of all authors, including their full names, academic titles/positions, and institutional affiliations, must be accurately provided in both Persian and English in the designated forms. Incomplete forms will not be processed.

  3. Online Submission:
The manuscript must be submitted through the journal’s online system, together with a separate file containing the full details of all authors.

  4. Initial Editorial Screening:
The Editor-in-Chief conducts a preliminary evaluation of submitted manuscripts to ensure compliance with the journal’s minimum academic, structural, and formal standards.

  5. First Peer Review:
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are forwarded to the first reviewer. The review process at this stage typically takes one to two months.

  6. Major Revisions (if required):
If the first reviewer recommends substantial revisions, the manuscript will be returned to the author for amendment.

  7. Second Peer Review:
The revised manuscript is then sent to a second reviewer. This review stage also generally requires one to two months.

  8. Implementation of Second Reviewer’s Comments:
The author must address and incorporate all required revisions suggested by the second reviewer.

  9. Final Technical and Formal Review:
The manuscript is reassessed for compliance with the journal’s style guide and editorial standards. If necessary, it will be returned to the author for final technical corrections.

  10. Editorial Board Approval:
The Editorial Board convenes to deliberate on manuscripts that have received favorable peer-review reports and have completed the required revisions. Final approval is granted at this stage.

  11. Additional Revisions (if required by the Editorial Board):
Should the Editorial Board request further amendments, the manuscript will be returned to the author for implementation.

  12. Copyediting and Layout:
The approved manuscript is forwarded to the copyeditor and layout editor for final preparation.

  13. Online Publication of the Typeset Version:
The typeset version of the article is uploaded to the journal’s website.

  14. Final Issue Approval:
The complete issue file is submitted to the Senior Editor for final confirmation prior to being scheduled for publication.
