Journal of Islamic Law is a quarterly academic journal accredited by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The journal is dedicated to the advancement of theoretical studies in Islamic law, with particular emphasis on jurisprudential (fiqh-based) theoretical and rational foundations, as well as issues connected to the normative and intellectual foundations of the Islamic Revolution. It also seeks to address contemporary legal challenges facing modern society through scholarly analysis grounded in Islamic legal thought.

The journal has been awarded an Impact Factor (IF) by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC).
